Hot Wire Flexi-Tape
An Electrified Bird Repel System
What is the ‘Hot Wire’ electrified bird repelling system?
‘Hot Wire’ is a deterrent for all bird species – gulls, feral pigeons, even small birds.
It suits any architectural configuration, including signs, parapets, ledges, arches, roof ridges, beams, fences, pergolas and screens. It consists of the low visibility electrified ‘Hot Wire Flexi-Tape’ which, when correctly installed and fitted to an energy source, permits total exclusion.
- This electrified system operates as an open circuit producing an electrical pulse each 2 seconds
- The resultant voltage can be from 8000V to the recommended minimum of 3000 volts
- The ‘Hot Wire’ system is powered by either 240v mains power or solar energisers
- The intermittent shock is a harmless way to teach nuisance birds to keep away
- The braid can be either stainless steel or copper, sewn into the U.V. stabilised PVC tape
- ‘Flexi-Tape’ adapts to most surface shapes
- The ‘Flexi-Tape’ has a low profile of 6mm and is virtually invisible from a distance.
